State Extends Benefits To Same Sex Spouses

Just hours after same sex marriage became legal in Florida, the state has ruled that new spouses can be covered by employee health insurance.
The enrollment period for new same sex spouses begins immediately and ends March 6 for state employees.
How much this extension of benefits will cost is not immediately known.
