School Board Race Confusion

I’m confused about the northwest Broward School Board race.
Is Jaemi Levine running or not?
Today the Sun-Sentinel political blog wrote a post with this headline:
Broward’s Jaemi Levine gives run for school board another try

Six hours later, consultant Ron Mills sent out this news release :

Coral Springs Florida– Today the “Shelly” Solomon for School Board Campaign, announced the endorsement of former School Board Candidate in District 4, Jaemi Levine.
Ms Solomon, said “I am honored to have the support of a great activist of the Children of District 4”.
District 4, includes the cities of Coral Springs, Margate, North Lauderdale, Parkland and Tamarac.

What gives?
Mills said Solomon has an endorsement card from Levine that was signed Wednesday, a day before the Sun-Sentinel posted the story. But she is still listed on the Supervisor of Elections website as a candidate in District 4.
Levine didn’t answer a message…yet. I will update when and if she does. A Sun-Sentinel reporter told me she is rechecking her sources.

Since when is being endorsed by Jamie Levine something to brag about?
Talk about confusion, the Broward SOE doesn’t have its act together, either. On their “Announced Candidates” web page http://www.browardsoe.org/electioncandidates.aspx?eid=119, they have Abby Freedman running for School Board in District 4, alhtough her paper work clearly indicates she is running for the at=large seat!

An endorsement by Jaemi Levine,of the failed 501c3, and the “he crushed my hand!” fame is about as meaningful as Bernie “Don’t rush me on the escalator” Friedman.

I have a golden rule about voting and trust based on names.
1) Never vote for or trust anyone who uses ” ” in their name.
2) Never vote for or trust anyone who uses an initial for their first name.

I am very proud of Jaemi’s decision, it is hard to end something that you have a passion for but Jaemi’s passion has always been the kids and I have no doubt she will continue that passion.

Now to the rest of you dumb asses. There is an old saying, when you assume you make an ass out of you. The joke is on all of you. It does not matter who is up who’s butt or who is in who’s bed. The true people who suffer is the children. You people fight between yourself bad mouthing this one and that one. The bottom line is that we are creating a generation of uneducated children. I pay school taxes in two cities. Everyone pays school taxes. Everytime the people of the broken machine makes a bad deal to make themselves money they are stealing from all of us. It’s the same as if I came to your home stuck a gun in your face and took all your money. When are you people going to wake up. $3.2 million from the teachers union. Unknown millions by the Kraft party. Until changes are made we all loose. If all you people would educate yourselves with the people that are running, intead of beliving what someone tells you, just maybe you would become a little bit smarter. I’m sure a few of you will have some comment on what I just wrote. The truth is as long as the machine stays broken your children will suffer.

Mitch/Jaemi: Your vulgarities and lack of any social graces are the reasons why 1. Jaemi will NEVER be elected to any public office and 2. her “endorsement” is less than worthless, it’s a liability. You must do something worthwhile to have people value your opinions to be considered a viable endorsement.
Where is Jaemi between elections? Does she work? Does she belong to any committees to help or to find the corruption that she is constantly alluding to? Does she volunteer at any schools? The answer is NO!
Do us all a favor Jaemi, you and your foul-mouthed husband need to go away – far, far away.

Our customer base is over 3500 people. Most of my customers are middle and upper class. This company has never taken a ball out, a loan or any money that did not belong to it. My wife does everything from the heart. Our business has funded most of her projects, helping children in need. What have you done in you life to help others. All I hear is those gums flapping bullshit. You need to get a real life and stop interfering in others that are making a difference. If I’m wrong than prove to me your not as stupid as I think you are, and that you don’t sit on your ass and bitch. Show me what have you done to make a difference in this world. Otherwise shut up and stay out of our way.

To answer your questions, My wife is on privite disability. If you do not understand what that is look it up. Any body can volunteer, or be on a committee. Thats easy. What does that prove. Nothing. Starting with an idea, making it grow, helping people with that idea is much more important. If you took the time to Research her projects and the people she has helped.

Look at the list of candidates in this district. Not one of them is outstanding. This is the sixth largest school system in the nation those we have running have never handled a major business budget. We need a management expert and not inexperienced mommy’s looking to fill their days .

Do you have any children in school?
If so I feel bad for you. People who believe in the broken machine believe everything is ok. This is so far from being correct. As I stated before I’m tired of my tax dollars used as someone’s personal bank account. These people need to be punished for their acts. Anyone who thinks these crimes are ok or believe they did not happen are just as guilty as the people who committed those crimes.
All this back and forth back biting is just a game, a form of entertainment. These people have hurt my wife for years for no reason. Most of them have never met her they just act on what they have been told. They are the uneducated. Now it is my turn. These people can call me as many names as they please. They call me loose cannon, they may be correct. There is a difference in acting uneducated and being uneducated. Whatever the case may be it seems to be working. For some reason I’m hitting a nerve. Otherwise nobody would have responded to my posts. They would have passed these posts on as the ramblings of a crazy man.
Nothing will ever change by sending these blogs back and forth. It will take an entire county of people to make changes in the schools. The unfortunate truth is that until changes are made the children will suffer for people’s greed. I’m not a religious man, but I believe the Universe has a way of balancing everything out. There is an old saying, “You do bad, you get Bad” simple but true.
So Christine, where do you stand? With the broken machine or with the people who want to fix it?

with the AKA’s. I guess you’re just another kraft supporter. If all you absorbed from that
message to Christine was a reference to a cartoon, and not a good one. Then you are just as stupid as the rest of them. You could at lease use a more credible author like Abraham Lincoln, George Eliot or Albert Einstein. The correct phrase is “Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt”. Which you have just made apparently clear.

It’s time to say goodbye for now. You people are so predictable
that it’s becoming boring. I have received a large project that will take up most
of my time. I will leave you with another note, besides winter is coming.
District 4’s race was already predicted. There would have been two people left for
the second race. Now things have changed, the constant is no longer there. This race is now up for grabs and could actually be won by someone in Aug. Life would suck for some people if
the wrong person won that seat. They should have left things along. O well not
my problem.
By the way, volunteering in a school or sitting on a committee is ok for people who
have no ambition. The true meaning of helping people is to actually rolling up your sleeves
working with programs like habitat for humanity, or in my wife’s case getting people
struck by disaster, the tools they need to continue with their lives. Sitting on a committee
that does nothing is not volunteering. For the losers who still harp on Mothers against Predators
status. If you losers would have done your homework you would have seen that the 501C3 Beads for Needs and Mothers against Predators were merged. I did not want to pay two fees every year when one would do. Once again nobody does their homework. Goodbye for now losers.

Beads for Needs Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that coordinates an annual Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser to benefit Charlotte children’s charities. They are in North Carolina. I don’t see your wife listed in the Executive Board.

I think Mitch is a bit of fresh air. I can hear the frustration in his words. He is speaking what many of us are thinking and haven’t the guts to say “outloud” so to speak. If more people stood up for what they blab about anonymously on here or other blogs, maybe change would come or have come sooner. Maybe if more people new about the crooks at the school board when they go to vote, took the time to educate themselves as to not only the issues but the actual people running, different choices may have been made. I do my due diligence when I vote or atleast try to, to the best of my ability. I am pissed about the waste and greed that has tainted the school board for so long. Why has it been so long that these people have been able to get away with what they have done. many, many reasons. big money, lobbyists, cronyism to name a few. Why are not more people angry? Why do not more people speak up? It is long past time for new blood. Just sayin’
