ORAL SEX TO TRIUMPH IN VIRGINIA

All indications are that fellatio and cunnilingus will remain legal in Virginia.

Republican gubernatorial nominee Ken “Don’t call me The Coochie” Cuccinelli lost to Democrat Terry McAuliffe, a guy with more baggage than a Boeing 747.

Cuccinelli, a Tea Party favorite, has called for reinstating state laws that make oral sex–gay or straight, in your car or at home in your bedroom—a felony.  He is convinced that oral sex leads to pedophilia.

His running mate, E.W. Jackson, is even nuttier.  Among his observations are that God created The Tea Party and that only Christians worship the “real” God.

And they wonder why they lost in a purple state?

ISRAEL’S  CHICKEN LITTLE

Since 1992 Iran has been between six months and five years away from testing a nuclear weapon…at least if you believe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s twenty years of  iterations.

Maybe the time discrepancy comes from Israel using a Lunar calendar?

Maybe not.

TIME TO RE-BRAND FORT LAUDERDALE?

I was just looking at one of those maps showing the projections of the rising seas.

If they are even half right, by mid century, Fort Lauderdale will have to drop “The Venice of America” and replace it with “The Atlantis of America”.

END OF FLOOD INSURANCE SUBSIDIES

Speaking of rising waters, have you ever heard of The Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012?  Probably not.

But you will.

For years Federal Flood Insurance (Don’t confuse this with homeowner/hurricane insurance.) has been heavily subsidized. It encouraged flood victims to build,  re-build, and re-re-build homes in areas that are ripe for repeated flooding.

If you live a flood zone–and most of us in South Florida do—and have mortgage you are required to purchase a policy.

FEMA, which administers the program, was losing billions. Effective in 2013, Biggert-Waters eliminated the subsidies and ordered FEMA to make the fees actuarially based on the cost of claims.

Over in Pinellas County, the homes in Treasure Island had a “slight” increase this year.  Rates went from $1500 to $12,000!

And that’s not the worst of it. Folks in real estate suggest that every $5000 increase in Flood Insurance rates means a $100,000 reduction in home value. Treasure Island home sales have dropped to literally zero.

Following Super Storm Sandy, the ocean front homes on the Jersey Shore are hearing that their rates will increase from the current $500 to $10,000.

Can East Broward rates be far behind?

A bipartisan group in Congress is pushing for a moratorium with a plan to ease in the new rates over the next few years.

BERNIE IS BACK

In 1984 the most controversial person in America was Bernard Goetz,  AKA “The Subway Vigilante”.

bernard goetz

For those too young to remember, using a gun he illegally carried, Goetz shot four thugs in the New York City subway who were about to mug him.  Newspapers screamed Goetz, who fled, was acting out a scene from the Charles Bronson vigilante movie “Death Wish.”

He was George Zimmerman four times over.  In the end he beat the Attempted Murder charges, and was only convicted of the gun charge.

Well, Bernie is now back in the Defendant’s box.  Last week he was arrested for selling $30 worth of pot to a NYC undercover cop.

Notwithstanding a B.S. degree in Nuclear and Electrical Engineering, his notoriety made returning to a normal life and career impossible.

I suspect that is the same fate awaits George Zimmerman.  What business, except maybe a gun store, will want him around with all the baggage he brings?     images 2

THE TEA PARTY: THE KOCH BROTHERS GOLEM

Nobody deserves more credit for The Tea Party success than the billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch who have put way north of a $100 million into those yahoos.

Last month, when the Teabaggers threatened to block an increase in the Debt Limit, they came within a hair of bringing down the American economy.  The Kochs got scared and personally lobbied to stop that action.

They are also dismayed that this wing of the Party is nominating “crazies” who cannot win in November.

In other words, they have created a Golem.  The Golem was Biblical character that had the elements of The Frankenstein monster.

The various folk tales of the Golem involve the Jews of the Middle Ages creating a monster to destroy their enemies.  After the Golem completes that job it turns on its creators.

The Tea Party is the Populist Golem created to destroy the Democrats.

Its zeal is now turning on its creators.

I disagree w/ this guy pertaining to Israel in regards to basicly Israel being a cock tease. Israel is our number one ally over there. Also to point out they just bombed parts of Syria so Russia couldn’t deliver their scud missles to Al Assad. Just because our President balked don’t think Israel will….

  2. Ghost of McLovin says:

You look at this as a triumph, but a 747 vote loss by a nut job is troubling and should be cause for concern in Virginia.Just under have of the voters agree with him.

    FROM BUDDY:

What is scary is that almost 1 million Virginians voted for E. W. Jackson, a lunatic extremist preacher running for Lt. Governor. Here are some of his comments from Right Wing Watch, a project of People for the American Way:

    Jackson on gays and lesbians:

Referred to gays and lesbians as “perverted,” “degenerate,” “spiritually darkened” and “frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally.”
Said regarding homosexuality: “it poisons culture, it destroys families, it destroys societies; it brings the judgment of God unlike very few things that we can think of.”

Argued that gays seek to “sexualize [children] at the earliest possible age” and use “totalitarian” tactics.

Claimed gays are hurting black women: “I’ve heard a lot of young black ladies that a lot of young black men seem to be gay. I’ve heard them complain about it, they say ‘so many of these guys are homosexuals’ and they are frankly frustrated by it.”

Demanded the reinstitution of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell : “The military has been decimated by this lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender policy that has now been implemented. It’s an abomination and it’s only going to weaken us militarily and they need to undo it,” warning that the policy’s repeal is a “disaster of historic proportions.”

Contended that homosexuality is “killing black men by the thousands” and said of gay rights advocates: “what they’re promoting is killing people.”

Called GLSEN founder and anti-bullying activist Kevin Jennings a “radical homosexual activist” who should have been “imprisoned” in a letter demanding he resign as head of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools.

Said there is a “direct connection” between gays and pedophilia.

    Jackson on Obama and Democrats:

Wondered how the Democratic Party “managed to hold on to black Christians in spite of an agenda worthy of the Antichrist.”

Proclaimed that “the Democrat Party has shown itself to be anti-Christian, anti-Bible, anti-family, anti-life and anti-God… We’re calling people to come out of the Democrat Party and not support candidates who represent its values and the rebellion that it represents against God. That certainly would include President Barack Obama.”
Claimed that Democratic Party supporters are “insulting their faith and blaspheming their God” by supporting a “coalition of the godless.”

Warned that ministers who support Obama “are going to have to answer to God” if they encourage “their congregations to support this abomination.”

Said Democrats believe “that the Bible is a lie and indeed they are saying that God is a liar.”

Argued that “liberalism and their ideas have done more to kill black folks whom they claim so much to love than the Ku Klux Klan, lynching and slavery and Jim Crow ever did, now that’s a fact.”

Maintained that Obama “seems to have a lot of sympathy for even radical Islam” and “clearly has Muslim sensibilities,” arguing that Obama “certainly does have a lot of affection and favor for Islam, that seems to be his priority…Christianity, I don’t really think about that with him, I really don’t, that’s a joke.”

Compared Democratic leaders to “slave masters” who make sure that black people who disagree with them are “punished.”

Insisted that Planned Parenthood “has been far more lethal to Black lives than the KKK ever was.”

Predicted that African Americans will “overwhelmingly” vote against Obama as a result of his endorsement of marriage equality and a move of God to “stir the hearts of His people” and push them against the Democrats.

Maintained that the President and First Lady are both Communist sympathizers who dislike America.

  3. Sam The Sham says:

The government should get out of the insurance business. Just as it should get out of every other business it intrudes in. Because of these subsidies we have real estate bubbles and development where it should not be. Now we have this quantitative easing which is creating a stock market bubble that will burst someday, creating just as much havoc to the country and economy. The more a government meddles in the private sector, the more it screws things up.

Bernie Goetz is just acting on what the majority of us already believe, legalize marijuana. A $30 buy? Wow, crime of the century.

We have the Koch brothers, you have the turd of a human being, George Soros. BFD. Soros far exceeds the Kochs on political spending.

I have not followed closely the race in Virginia. I never heard anything about the “sodomy” thing and don’t know what role it played in the numbers. It is very interesting to note that Cuccinelli surged in the numbers at the last minute because of the unpopular “Obamacare” fiasco. Unless Obama gets some good press, more elections will go to the Republicans. BTW, if Virginia gave Arlington and Alexandria back to DC, it would be a red state.

  4. Sam The Sham says:

    Buddy,

Forgive the second post but I did not see your comment before I submitted mine.

Your cut and paste job from the left wing publication is disappointing to say the least. You usually are not at a loss in expressing yourself and don’t need to resort to pasting someone else’s diatribe.

I could comment on each line of that article but will restrict myself to only a few comments.

Jackson rightfully called for Jennings imprisonment because he knew of a 15 year old boy being molested by an adult and as a teacher did not report the crime.

If you substitute “Sam Fields” in every charge that Jackson made for “Democrat Party” you get exactly what Sam has been preaching here for years.

“Sam Fields has shown himself to be anti-Christian, anti-Bible, anti-family, anti-life and anti-God”

“Said Sam Fields believes “that the Bible is a lie and indeed he is saying that God is a liar.”

Lastly, Planned Parenthood was initially created as a means of controlling the Black Population. Through their abortions, which are overwhelmingly for blacks, they have killed millions of black babies where the KKK can only be charged with hundreds of deaths. From a life believing Christian, a babies life is just as valuable as any other life and Planned Parenthood is guilty of a modern day holocaust. Very Ironic that a modern day Jew, such as Sam, conveniently ignores this.

  5. City activist robert Walsh says:

#4″Sam the sham-Planed Parenthood was founded so woman who got pregnant and had little resources or money could go to a clinic that would help them. And your point that woman who go there are predemoinatly Black is not accurate. planned parenthood has patients of all colors. Your comments are sick. Be careful of “Sam the Sham” Your fat right???

  6. Herbert G says:

Fields idea to end flood insurance subsidies would kill the South Florida real estate industry and throw thousands out of work immediately. No one except Wayne Huizenga could afford a mortgage if the required flood insurance costs were $1,000 a month on top of the inflated hurricane insurance. Since almost all of South Florida is in a flood zone, e;everybody would pay.

  7. Anonomyte says:

When I was 18 I went to Planned Parenthood for birth control. The nurse warned me ahead of time that that the male doctor did not like giving birth control pill prescriptions to young white girls.

The nurse helped me concoct my story that I was going to Florida to marry my high school sweetheart. I got examined, with my clothes on, told my story and got my first birth control prescription.

I get tired of people like Sam the Sham or better yet Sam the Asshole, with his self-serving cliched bullshit about Planned Parenthood.

Back 40 years ago, there were questions a girl would not or could not ask her mother. Thank goodness Planned Parenthood was there for me.

I will always be there for Planned Parenthood.

Cut the crap Sam the Sham, you don’t know shit.

  8. Duke says:

Ken Cuccinelli has got to be a self-loathing closet homosexual. There’s no other way to explain it.

I hear a lot of people say that Israel is our best ally in the middle east. My question is prior to 1948, who were our enemies in the middle east?

Back in 1986 I worked for a radio station that made me fulfill some FCC requirement by compiling an ascertainment report notating the biggest problem facing our region. Back then, it was the diminishing shoreline. Fast forward 27 years, and it’s still the biggest problem facing our region.

    Flood insurance is a scam.

Big difference between Trayvon Martin and the guys Bernie Goetz shot. For one, Trayvon didn’t ask Zimmerman to give him $5.00.

The Koch brothers are going to get Rick Santorum the republican nomination in 2016. Then he’ll lost to Hillary. Laugh very loudly. Then remember where ya heard it.

  9. SAM FIELDS says:

    Dear Herbert,
Exactly where did I offer an opinion on Biggert-Waters? I didn’t. I merely reported what was going on.

But if you want my personal thoughts here they are.

If you can afford to buy an ocean front home in Golden Beach, Manalapan, Palm Beach or the Hillsboro Mile you can afford to pay for the insurance.

Apparently you feel that folks with $20,000,000 homes need a subsidy. How compassionate.

Are there middle class folks in South Florida that have been caught in a bind? I suspect so. We need to work out some sort of multiyear phase in.

The big picture is that the Flood Program is $25 billion in the Red.

The irony is that the same oceanfront property owners getting the subsidy are usually the conservatives who deny the global warming that is causing the rising seas and 200 mph storms like the one that just hit the Philippines. They are the same folks who drive cars getting 10 mpg and complain about Food Stamps for the hungry.

It’s the Steve Ross’s of the world who are worth $ 4 ½ billion and want the taxpayers to give him $200 million to put a roof on his stadium that are getting the insurance subsidy for their oceanfront mansions.

I have friends that live over in Idyllwild. They have correctly noticed that the high tides are getting steadily higher. One Cat 1-2 coming in and they are screwed. The surge will get up to the second floor.

The only way we are going to get the political wherewithal to deal with this problem is when we quit subsidizing climate change denial which is exactly what has been going on for the last thirty years of Flood Insurance.

  10. Sam The Sham says:

The founder of PP was Margaret Sanger. Do yourselves a favor and google Margaret Sanger eugenics and educate yourselves. While you are at it see if you can find out the number of black women vs white women getting abortions at PP over the last generation.

  11. Christine says:

    @#10

They won’t Sam. They drank the kool-aid and embrace the culture of death.

  12. Anonomyte says:

@#11 Conspiracy theorist, or did you forget to take your meds again?

  13. Christine says:

    @12

No sweetie. I just value life. Disappointing that so many folks don’t.
