Rothstein Is Still AV Rated

BY BUDDY NEVINS

Scamster Scott Rothstein may have lost his license to practice law.  He may be locked up in a federal jail.

But Martindale.Com still lists him as an AV-Rated lawyer.

That’s the top rating!

I wrote about this in November, but that was almost three months ago.  Still Rothstein is AV Rated?

Martindale bills itself as the “premier destination for sophisticated buyers of legal services.”

The listing of Rothstein makes me wonder about the rest of the lawyers they rate.

I’m told that either an administrator at the rating service or Rothstein himself are the only ones who can remove his name.

Check this out.  I got it off their website today:

    who cares…does it really matter

  2. Law firm man says:

I love this since I have gotten questions from clients about my lack of an AV rating. I always thought it was bullshit and now you have proved it.
I plan to print this out and show anybody who asks.

  3. Lady Law says:

AV ratings are meaningless and I am so glad you pointed this out. Martindale will say they have no way of finding out about the lawyers they rate.

Then what good are they for potential clients?
