Update: Bogdanoff Charges Domino Used Push Poll

BY BUDDY NEVINS

It’s starting in the state Senate Republican campaign in northeast Broward and Palm Beach.

State Rep. Ellyn Bogdanoff of Fort Lauderdale charged Thursday that her opponent State Rep. Carl Domin0 of Jupiter used a slanted push poll to misrepresent his standing in the campaign.

“Late yesterday, you released a push poll that misrepresents your status in this race.  Push polls do not ask legitimate questions, but rather attempt to unfairly persuade voter’s opinions.  Your push poll asked malicious questions to deliberately injure my reputation and skew the polling results,” Bogdanoff  wrote in a letter to Domino.

“Rest assured, I will take the necessary steps to defend my reputation and educate the voters on your tactics,” her letter continued.

Domino told me in an interview last week that he would not be the one to start negative campaigning.

Bogdanoff was reacting to Domino’s release of a poll that showed him with a 41.7-to-25.3 percent lead.  The poll was conducted July 8 by his pollster.

Bogdanoff says her late-June poll has the opposite results.  It shows her with a 31.7-to-21 percent lead.

Both polls have a huge pool of undecided voters.

We’ll find out who’s right in the Aug. 24 primary for the northeast Broward and Palm Beach District 25 race.

Carl knows he is on the wrong side of a blow out. This is something he had to do, even though it reeks of desperation.

  2. Dr.Domino says:

Domino should use that push poll to push Bogdanoff right out of politics!!!
