Pix From Browardbeat Readers: Early Voting
BY BUDDY NEVINS
The temperature is in the 90s and the turnout is light, but that didn’t stop candidates and their supporters from flocking to every early voting site in Broward County.
Here are some pictures :
(From top to bottom: Judicial candidate John Contini, voting on Saturday in Coral Ridge Mall; Northwest Broward County School Board member Abby Freedman, running for re-election; Ken Keechl (left) and Ben Lap, opponents for the Broward County Commission District 4 making nice; Broward County Commissioner Kristin Jacobs, who is running for state House District 96 and Broward County Commissioner Marty Kiar campaigning for his colleague Jacobs.)

You should be ashamed. This is pure PR for Abby Freedman, the evil witch of Parkland.

I’ve got the wife and kids tele-campaigning from Lakeland, and the best volunteers money can buy in Hollywood. Once I fly back to Hallandale I’ll send a few pics of your way.

Marty Kiar should get his unemployed relatives to these voting sites, oh that’s right they are all now employed and on vacation. Is Marty’s brother now a captain at BSO?

Let’s hope Contini’s vote for himself is the ONLY vote he gets! I already voted against him – the one-page ballot was easy and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes!
Best picks in the primary are:
Governor – Nan Rich (she will certainly lose to Crist, but the number of votes she gets anyway indicates the current voting strength of progressives in Florida)
17th Circuit Judicial seats
8th – Frantz “Jahra” McLawrence
16th – Andrea Gundersen
17th – Stacey Schulman
27th – Steven Feren
County Court
18th – Ellen Feld
27th – Ian Richards
Broward Soil & Water Conservation District, Dist. 4 – Fred Segal
For Attorney General – George Sheldon.

Ha Ha…think Lori was ahead of the game….knew dropping Feren dead weight was prophetic. Sign and name conspicuously absent from her latest endorsements. Or maybe she has amnesia? Ha Ha Ha…get some positive energy and a little good karma.
