Loser In GOP Primary Raises $$$ For Winner

In the August primary much of the county’s Republican leadership was behind candidate David Maymon, who was running for an open northeast Broward state House district.

But Maymon lost.

Now the leaders are falling in behind the GOP nominee George Moraitis, a Fort Lauderdale lawyer.

Maymon is a host of a reception for Moraitis on Wednesday, along with other GOP leaders like Barbara Collier.  She originally backed Maymon.

Note that guests are suppose to RSVP to Matt Bogdanoff, son of Ellyn Bogdanoff, the state representative who is leaving the House seat to run for Senate.  Matt Bogdanoff worked for the Maymon campaign in the primary.

The GOP in NE Broward is a big happy family….now.

    In that corner of the universe, piddly state rep candidates get to wax philosophical on stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the job s/he is running for.

    On his planet, they are all Coo-Coo for Coco-Puffs because they’re so damned Chocolately.

    A lot of the names on here are simply for show…how much they actually bring to the table or contribute themselves is what really matters.

    Barbara Stern is going to win this seat. Same with Kelly Skidmore. Poor Buddy’s kid is going to be jobless! (Chip LaMarca and Allen west are not winning either!)
