Last Day To Tell Key Senators What You Think Of GOP Health Care Proposals

Today is the deadline to tell key Republicans in the U. S. Senate your views on their pending rewrite of the nation’s health care coverage law.

You didn’t know about the deadline?

GOP senators apparently have been working quietly behind closed doors on the health care law and reshape it to be more like the much-reviled version which the U. S. House passed earlier, according to today’s New York Times.

Playing hide-and-seek with the public may be senator’s way to avoid publicly hearing from members and leaders of all the groups that oppose the House bill, including the American Medical AssociationAmerican Nurses AssociationAmerican Hospital AssociationAmerican Academy of PediatricsAmerican Cancer SocietyAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Diabetes AssociationAmerican Lung AssociationMarch of Dimes and AARP, Times columnist David Leonhardt writes.

Today is the last day the Senate Finance Committee is accepting comments on the bill.

Obamacare was a disaster for for my family and my employees. The premiums skyrocketed (91per cent increase in three years) even though I went to a bare bones policy.
Please continue to attempt to reign in the costs of health care!
