I’ve Heard That….
An elected official recently embarrassed himself by stumbling and slurring his way through a public speech. He had to be nudged away from the microphone.
Apparently, the official left an earlier meeting to drink his dinner. Then he foolishly returned to speak while another official he was drinking with wisely stayed away.

Aren’t most politicans drunks? That would be the only way to explain how they vote.
