Hamilton Forman Services Set

Memorial services will be held Jan. 23-24 for Hamilton Forman, who for decades was the leading political figure in Broward County.
Viewings are scheduled for:
Saturday, Jan. 23: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shrine of Light Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 SW 64th Ave., Fort Lauderdale;
Sunday, Jan. 24: from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 201 SE 13th St., Fort Lauderdale.
There will be a service after the second viewing. There will be no graveside ceremony.
The family requests donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Hamilton M. and Blanche C. Forman Christian Foundation, 1524 Coral Ridge Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304-1524.
Forman died Monday night at his Fort Lauderdale home.
He was the major influence on politics, public health care and education for over six decades.
