Gov. Scott Attack President Obama on Twitter

BY BUDDY NEVINS

Gov. Rick Scott used Twitter to attack President Barack Obama on the eve of the president’s scheduled arrival in Miami for three fund raisers.

Obama is due in Miami today to raise money for the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee at three different events.

Scott tweeted this:

“I’m disappointed you are coming to Florida for politics, and not to help lake O. (Okeechobee)- Cut by your budget.”

Of course, if the president cut his budget, there would be even less for Lake Okeechobee projects.

And two attacks on Obamacare.  One is here (click to enlarge):

Yet another great example of our country’s leaders coming together.

    Not.

  2. Duke says:

    Memo to Rick Scott:

The president is going to help Charlie Crist get elected. Like that bullet train that we should have had, Charlie is going to roll right over you.

You’re the worst Governor this state has ever had and it will be good to see you gone.

  3. JUST SAYING says:

I have a feeling that the Governor was asking the President to cut the Presidential travel account budget and not refering to the overall budget. Many R’s feel like the President is spending too much money on travel for campaign related trips. Everytime the President travels, there is a large expense (Air Force One, Marine One, escort F-16’s, entourage, etc.).

  4. Floridan says:

Scott is an embarrassment — he has left billions of federal dollars on the table for narrow ideological reasons. Even worse, in turning his back on federal money, he has hurt those least able to defend themselves — the classic definition of a bully.

  5. Notocorruption says:

We are stuck with the President until 01/20/2017. We can defeat the Governor in a year’s time.

Let’s work on what we can do and keep tabs on the ones we can’t undo right now.

  6. Duke says:

Rick Scott should have gone to the same prison as his business partners that he ratted out.

  7. frank says:

Scott is right about this. The state has put in more their share of Lake O/Everglades funding and the feds (both bush and Obama now) have left us with lots of IOUs.
They need to fund this like they promised back in ’99.
