Got A Spare Thousand Dollars?

Got a spare thousand?
Ron DeSantis, the Republican candidate for governor, has a $1,000-per-person fund raiser on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale.
If you are a high roller and want a picture with DeSantis, expect to fork over $5,000.
The host committee includes four lobbyists — Ellyn Bogdanoff, a former state Senator; George LeMieux, a former U. S. Senator; Bill Rubin, who has represented health care companies for decades, and Ed Pozzuoli, former Broward Republican chair. Also on the committee are Art Falcone, owner of of South Florida’s largest privately-owned development companies; Shane Strum, a longtime Republican activist and Memorial Healthcare systems executive and Zach Zachariah, a veteran heart doctor and GOP fund raiser now with Holy Cross.
All the details are below:

As opposed to to your potential Gillum fundraiser headline that would read something like “ Giddy Democrats come out for Gillum! Or Gillum For the people “ oh please Buddy, I can’t believe you only called them high rollers and not “fat cats” this time!
FROM BUDDY:
Face it. The average person can no afford $1,000 for a ticket to a fund raiser. Only high rollers can. Contributions like this has infected the political process on both sides. Only high rolling lobbyists and business types can play.
I’m an equal opportunity writer. If Gillium holds a fund raiser with a minimum contribution of $1,000, I’ll write a similar headline.

informed has a point buddy, and this is why its named yellow journalism lol
FROM BUDDY:
FYI:
The term Yellow Journalism stems from Joseph Pulitzer’s New York World and William Randolph Hearst’s New York American’s bitter circulation war in the 1890s. It is thought the term originated from a comic strip that one paper and then the other published to draw readers.
The comic strip Hogan’s Alley had a character called The Yellow Kid.
