Ex-School Construction Chief Garretson Dead

- We were just informed that Mike Garretson passed away today in St. Augustine as a result of complications from heart bypass surgery. As more information becomes available, we will forward to you immediately.

What does this do to the investigation of the schools? He was an FBI source.

Somebody better bring in Kojak, Baretta, Columbo and every other super sleuth. This death needs to be investigated. The story reads like it comes straight out of a TV super cop script. I hope they did an autopsy or is he cremated already…hmmmm.

When the news originally broke about his death it came from J. Rick Kolb of The Weitz Co. Hmmmmmm, I wonder why it wouldn’t come from a family member; unless Kolb is an honorary family member.
Remember Garretson’s nephew worked with Weitz while Kolb was soaking up fees on the sweet school board contracts that were negotiated with Garretson at Johnny V’s.

Garretson came in on the tail end…he wasn’t there when all of the mold and mildew in NEW schools and they kept producing the same school over and over and spent millions removing mold and mildew from them. The man he replaced is the one to bring back from California for the grand jury…his name escapes me maybe Tom Calhoun, t he fly boy airforce guy.
