Demo’s Beef With MSNBC Over Broward Speech
BY BUDDY NEVINS
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz was forced to cancel his speech to Broward Democrats last month because the network’s rules forbid broadcasters from addressing partisan fund raisers.
But MSNBC’s Joe “Morning Joe” Scarborough is speaking to New Hampshire Republicans next month.
Not fair, complains the Democratic National Committee.

Another mistake by Mitch Ceasar. He should have known this invitation would be cancelled.

Morning Joe is the hottest show on MSNBC and station executives are not going to piss off their star. Ed Schultz is an old, fat nothing with no audience.

FROM BUDDY:
The interesting thing about the “big” cable talk shows is how few people watch them. A few hundred thousand out of the entire nation! They are all talking to a handful of political junkies.
Also, notice in the link you provided how the audience skews old.
CNBC is a different animal. The financial show during the day has a small, very monied audience of investors which is desirable to a certain type of advertiser.

Mister Timmy Stevens:
The above poster referred to MJ being the “hottest” show. Not the highest rated.
