Anti Semite Wants To Address Broward County Commission

The Broward County Commission is headed towards a free speech dilemma.
An anti-Semitic wacko wants time on the Commission agenda to address them.
Joseph D. Gilberti claims that a whole range of political and business leaders are covering up a hidden river underground which will solve Florida’s water problems.
Gilberti also is a virulent anti-Semite and bona fide fruitcake based on his Twitter posts below.
He believes that Democratic state Rep. Katie Edwards of Plantation, along with serial entrepreneur Ron Bergeron, the Sun-Sentinel, Broward General Medical Center physicians, Gov. Rick Scott and others are involved in a scheme to hide his findings. Somehow the Boston bombings and 9/11 figure in all this.
Can the commission forbid him from addressing them just because his speech will be unpopular, offensive and just plain off-the-wall? Maybe yes or maybe no. But Mayor Marty Kiar says the group can curb “impertinent” speech.
“We have a policy at the County Commission that does not allow impertinent speech,” Kiar explained. “If he makes impertinent remarks, I will have his microphone turned off and have him removed from the chamber.”

And just to let Gilberti know, I haven’t received any money from the Rothschild World Bank or any of the International Jewish Conspiracy to write this.

He has a PE after his name so I assume Professional Engineer? Doesn’t the commission have to give 5 minutes to everybody who asks?
He seems to hate everybody so he can’t be all bad.

2. There is no “Rothschild World Bank”.
The Naples (von actually, not de) Rothschild Bank closed when the von Rothschild brother in Frankfurt am Main died childless and the two Naples nephews took over. They died without sons, so that branch, the original A.M. von Rothschild und Soehne closed I think in 1906.
The daughter of the last Frankfurt am Main von Rothschild partner married Maximilian Goldschmidt, and he was ennobled as baron von Goldschmidt-Rothschild, HIS SON had a bank in Berlin in the 1920s and that was closed before the Holocaust, albeit a branch under another name existed until 1941.
The remaining branches in 194l were N.M. Rothschild & Sons in London, which exists to this day, and Rothschild Inc in New York City, a remanent of the Paris de Rothschild Freres bank which was nationalized by Socialist President (and Vichy official in his younger days) Francois Mitterand.
I did not mention the once major S.M. von Rothschild und Soehne bank in Vienna. The partners (one was a close friend of Edward VIII and he stayed at his Castle after the Abdication) escaped to America but had no male heirs and after World War II the business was dissolved.
Two branches of the de Rothschild family live in Switzerland. One branch has converted to Roman Catholicism. The more successful, but still Jewish barons de Rothschild in Switzerland are famous for owning California banks and have or had an interest in Rothschild Inc. in New York City.
Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, of the French bank, son of the three partners of the nationalized French bank lives in New York City and is an American citizen (Harvard educated) and makes personal investments as well as being a fundraiser for the Repulican Party.
There is NO CONNECTION between the various small de Rothschild banks that survive and the World Bank or the Federal Reserve as Rothschild Inc is a private or merchant banking operation outside the public banking system and the Federal Reserve.
ONE QUESTION, how does a NUTJOB like Joe Gilberti get to qualify and remain a “P.E.” ? Doesn’t INSANITY disqualify you from a Florida State Licence?

The county allows a festivus tree. So how can they prevent a citizen wacko from addressing the commission during open speech? A loophole via “impertinent speech.” I was under the impression that open speech sign ups allows citizens to address any topic they want. Signing up to discuss an agenda item limits the speech to that topic.

I am a firm believer that in this country American citizens’ first amendment rights should always be honored and preserved! With that said-when an individual is continually threatening in his social media postings, that he is going to blow up an elected official, I think he loses that right. So many question “why more qualified people don’t consider running for public office” on any level-unstable individuals threatening ones personal safety as this man is- is why. I can assure you that State Rep. Katie Edwards has worked tirelessly for many, many years to make informed decisions that will make positive impacts for all of the residents in the State of Florida!
On another note-I certainly appreciate the history lesson on the Rothschild family! Be Safe All!

What is the problem here?
Some of the Broward County Commissioners are under the impression that they are Gods and/or Goddesses. What makes them much different from this guy except for the fact they are paid big bucks to orate whether or not they know anything about the topic.

Of course he has a right to speak, under the same rules that everyone else does.
The fact that he may be a nut should not be disqualifying. If it was, there already would be fewer people addressing the commission during its meetings.

As a Jew I find this person disgusting and hateful but as an American Citizen he has every right to speak. No matter how vile his opinion. Free speech is not just the right to say what people agree with, but the right extends to all opinions, no matter how crazy or vile. Let him have his 3 minutes and then forget him. Not allowing him to speak will only give him a bigger platform.
