A Jenne Connection In The Sheriff’s Race?

BY BUDDY NEVINS

Is Ken Jenne’s former chief of staff, who left town just as the feds were closing in on the former sheriff, involved in the Broward sheriff’s race from 400 miles away?
Advertising attacking candidate Rick Lemack hit mail boxes this weekend.
They were paid for by the Common Sense Coalition, a committee which I couldn’t find on file in Tallahassee.  But the Tallahassee address for the group is the same address where Todd Wilder hangs his hat.  Wilder is a partner for The Markham Group, a political consulting firm with an office at the same location as the Common Sense Coalition.
Wilder was Jenne’s chief of staff at the sheriff’s office. He bailed in 2006 to help run Democatic state Sen. Rod Smith’s gubernatorial campaign when it was clear Jenne was in trouble and headed for jail.
The mail piece targets Lemack for being an assistant city manager in Hollywood while scandal swirled around.  I was wondering when someone would connect Lemack to the stink that was Hollywood City Hall.
Is Wilder involved in the mail piece?  All I know is it is an interesting coincidence.

You need to elaborate on that. Not everyone is aware of what you are talking about, myself included.
