Clarence Thomas Does UF Chomp

BY BUDDY NEVINS

Clarence Thomas is U. S. Supreme Court justice who can have a little fun.

Thomas demonstrated his version of the Gator Chomp for University of Florida law students Friday.

The Gator Chomp, for all the uninitiated, is the gesture made by UF fans to show their support of the various sports teams.  It is suppose to look like the jaws of a gator opening and closing.

During his address to students, Thomas said he preferred to hire clerks from schools like UF because they deserved the opportunity just as much as those from Harvard and Yale.

Students, no doubt, were thrilled with that message.  No word on how many passed him their resume.

Pres. Obama. Michelle Obama and now Justice Thomas . . . who says bipartisanship isn’t possible? You just have to have the right cause.
