Professional Wrestler Praises Governor

Of all those who say good things about Gov. Rick Scott, Triple H may be the most colorful.
This week Triple H was playing from the Scott campaign playbook rather than the scripts written for WWE broadcasts.
Triple H: Raves for the governor.
Triple H, who’s real name is Paul Michael Levesque, is one of the nation’s best-known professional wrestlers. Triple H stands for his wresting character’s moniker Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
Triple H is married to his WWE boss Vince McMahon’s daughter Stephanie McMahon. The wrestler’s formal title now is Executive Vice President, Talent and Live Events.
In this button-down, all-business persona, Triple H introduced Scott at the opening of the WWE’s Global Performance Center in Orlando:
“Without him, this (new facility) would not have been possible at all. He was a huge driving factor of being here, being in the state of Florida. He’s responsible for the enormous revival of Florida by making it business friendly.”
Democrats, of course, would credit President Obama for most of Florida’s recovery.
Still, you can’t argue with the WWE adding nearly 100 jobs and initially investing $2.3 million in their new facility.
“The facility will allow WWE’s rising stars to gain valuable training in the ring, as well as enable their television production professionals and those in the sports medicine field to hone their skills. The center is home to seven training rings, world-class strength training equipment, and cutting-edge editing and production facilities. The complex is a central location for all WWE talent to train under the care and tutelage of the best in the business, says a news release from the governor’s office.
