Fields Rants Against Possible Jeb Bush Candidacy

BY SAM FIELDS

(Fields is a Fort Lauderdale attorney and a outspoken liberal who dislikes Jeb Bush and everything he stands for.)

Today’s South Florida Sun-Sentinel has an interesting debate on its editorial page about Jeb Bush’s possible candidacy for Senate in 2010.

On one side, you’ve got the pro-Bush columnist Kingsley Guy.  On the other, the anti-Bush columnist Stephen Goldstein.

My thoughts: Bush and his ilk like to present themselves as moral anchors as evidenced by their concern for Terry Schiavo and  frozen embryos.

The simple fact is that the Bush crowd aren’t moral anchors.  They are moral nut jobs.

Faced with a “Sophie’s Choice” of destroying a teaspoon holding 10,000 embryos or executing 5000 ten year olds, they are locked in a moral conundrum of weighing respective quantities.

Like I said…nut jobs.

Silly Sammie. Why are you writing this garbage during the day and not working on cases? You don’t have any anymore? No wonder. Anybody who reads the junk in your mind would rather go to jail than have to talk to you for the length of a trial.

  2. Sam Fields says:

    Dear Mister Outhouse

I am sorry for you if the candidate’s moral imperatives are not part of your equation in casting your vote.

Hey, lay off Sam! Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I happen to agree with Sam when it comes to uncle JEB.

For all of the moral positions that he tried to force down our throats, he didn’t seem to have any comment about his wife trying to smuggle thousands of dollars worth of contraband through Atlanta when he became Gov.

To quote Mrs. JEB; “Don’t you know who I am?”

Hasn’t anybody ever told you that it’s much better to be a has been than a never was?

Losing is just an event in life. Being a never was is a life all unto itself.
