Fields On Sex In School & In The Church

The arrest of 32-year-old Hialeah teacher Maria Guzman Hernandez for having sex with a 15-year-old student evokes fond memories of Miss Daly, a student intern when I was a second grader at P.S. 156.
No, I did not have sex with Miss Daly. I didn’t even know in the second grade what sex was.
I did have a crush on her. And who is to say that if I was 15 years old, things might not have been different. Like Hernandez, Daly would have been 32.
Alas, I digress from the intent of this piece, which is say that there is a double standard that I cannot get around.
I have no doubt that a 15-year-old girl is victim when seduced by a 32-year-old man. But I can’t help thinking that when you reverse the genders, the 15 year old is less a victim and more “a lucky bastard.
Yes, there will be disagreement about my position. I am willing to bet none of it will come from straight men.
It is 58 years since I have seen Miss Daly. But not a month goes by that I do not have thoughts about her.
If she is still alive, she is chronologically pushing 80. But in my mind she will always be a 22-year-old hottie who I wanted to have her way with me. Even if I did not know what having her way meant.
CUTIE REDUX
Speaking of sex, Father Alberto Cutié has solved the Catholic celibacy problem. He gave up being a Roman Catholic and joined the Episcopal Church, which has enough “smells and bells to be referred to a “Catholic Lite.
But it was no fond farewell from Archbishop John C. Faverola: “This truly is a serious setback for ecumenical relations and cooperation between [Catholics and Episcopalians]. Father Cutié is removing himself from full communion with the Catholic Church and thereby forfeiting his rights as a cleric.
He added that Cutié is “still bound by his promise to live a celibate life, which he freely embraced at ordination. Only the Holy Father can release him from that obligation.”
Bitchy, bitchy, bitchy.
Cutié was a hot property. The Church invested serious time and dollars in him.
He is Benedict Arnold. Worse, he is Lebron James if he uses free agency to go to the Knicks.
The language attack on Cutié is more vitriolic than the language used to describe pedophile priests. Why? Because, like all organizations that have overstayed their time, group loyalty trumps bad behavior.
This kind of demand for blind obedience is one reason that Catholic churches are closing left and right [more accurately right and far right].
The Miami Herald reports that 14 churches will be shut down. That might seem odd with a growing South Florida Hispanic population—read Catholic—that now totals 800,000.
Declining Church attendance reflects that many of the 800,000 are C.H.I.N.Os—Catholic In Name Only.
Final note on Favalora’s statement. Even God can’t release Cutie from the vow of celibacy. Only the Pope can.
This confirms what I have always said. The Catholic Church is the world’s largest cult of the personality.

Cutie took the vows of a priest but in time came to want a non-celibate life. He could not have that life in the Catholic faith if he was to remain a cleric. And so like many others, he changed religions. Now he can serve his faith as he wishes and live the life he wishes to live. In classic style, the Catholic Church objects suggesting that he cannot have it all. But it begs the question why. And the answer to that rings constant as circular reasoning — because the Church said so that’s why. Cutie sure made them look foolish and rightly so. They are foolish.

Does Mr. Fields realize how damaging it can be when a young 15 year old boy has sex with an adult woman, especially an authority figure? This can color future relationships with peers. PLUS IT IS RAPE..GOOD GOD SAM GET A GRIP!!!!!!
