(Fields is a Fort Lauderdale attorney and a outspoken liberal who dislikes Jeb Bush and everything he stands for.)

BY BUDDY NEVINS

Didn’t manage to make it to Gov. Charlie Crist’s wedding?  You weren’t alone.

The list of Broward attendees was short because the political establishment here is largely Democratic.

Still, a small group from Broward made the trip to St. Petersberg to watch the governor marry Halloween costume company heiress Carol Rome Friday night. Read the rest of this entry »

(Sam Fields is a Fort Lauderdale attorney, a screaming liberal Democrat and a major movie fan.)

The brouhaha between high school student Katherine Evans and her English teacher Sarah Phelps played out exactly like the Founding Fathers envisioned when they wrote the First Amendment.

At least until Vernon Wormer and Ed Rooney stuck their noses in the debate.  Now the only things certain are that the lawyers will make a small fortune and the poor taxpayer will foot the bill. Read the rest of this entry »
